The hotel for the conference is the Long Island Marriott, located at 101 James Doolittle Boulevard, Uniondale, NY 11553. To make a reservation, call 800-228-9290 or 800-832-6255. Be sure to specify NYSMATYC. You will be asked to use your credit card; cancellations can be made up to 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. (Please verify this with the reservation agent). If you prefer to send a deposit by check, you may contact the hotel directly at (516) 794-3800.

The conference rate is $119 per room per night, for 1 to 4 people. Most rooms have 2 double beds; if you require a rollaway, a limited number may be available. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; check-out time is 12:00 noon.

The conference rate will be held until March 10, 2000. Reservations received after March 10 are subject to availability, and will most likely be at a higher price.

If you are interested in finding a roommate for the conference, or if you are flying in and would like to know if anyone else might be available to share a cab, please contact Dona Boccio at dboccio@qcc.cuny.edu.

For driving directions, see reverse side. If you are flying, the following cab companies are local and can be called from the airport.

Right onto Hempstead Turnpike (heading west). Go approximately ¼ mile and make a right onto campus at California Ave. entrance. (This entrance has a guard booth, and is just before the glass bridge going over Hempstead Turnpike). Go through two stop signs and make a left into parking lot. Student Center is on your left, set back a bit. There are picnic tables in front of the building and sliding glass doors. When you enter through these doors, make a left. The NYSMATYC Registration desk will be in the Plaza Rooms.
