NYSMATYC Executive Board
NYSMATYC is the organization it is because of the willingness of so many individuals throughout New York State to become involved at all levels of the organization. The accomplishments of the association are the result of a team effort.
A special group of individuals are those who have served on the Executive Board. NYSMATYC is very fortunate to have a seemingly endless source of truly dedicated, industrious, and talented people who are willing to serve. The job is not easy, the pay is terrible, and the time commitment is sometimes overwhelming. But, the sense of accomplishment and the friendships that develop among the board members is truly worth the sacrifice. A list of the officers of NYSMATYC from 1967-1997 is found in the Appendix.
As we reflect upon the contributions and accomplishments of those who have served so diligently on the Executive Board, we give tribute to four extraordinary individuals whose presence we sorely miss: Helen Siner, Dan Dodway, Jerry Lieblich, and Ted Moore. Each of these special people made a lasting impression on our organization and the hearts of those who were fortunate to know them.
NYSMATYC Presidents
The
driving force behind
our organization has been the men and women who have served as
president of the
association. Beginning with Herb Gross, each president has provided the
organization with strong leadership and has inspired all of us with a
high
degree of enthusiasm and dedication. Their contributions to the
organization
are just too numerous to list in this document. Suffice to say that the
